For those of you who do not have the privilege of spending winter in the Mountain State of West Viginia, you really can’t comprehend all that you miss. The drive into work this morning was nothing short of amazing. With 5-6 inches of new snow this morning, there is not a more beautiful place to be found. The trees are hanging heavy with snow, new snow continues to fall and it truly is a winter wonderland. The state road crews do a terrific job of keeping the roads clear. The ski resorts in the state are loving the cold temps and new snowfall that has been happening on a daily basis. Snowshoe Mountain has received 84″ of snow so far this season! The skiing and riding conditions are amazing at all the resorts in the state: Winterplace, Canaan Valley, Timberline and Snowshoe/Silver Creek. If you get a chance, take a road trip and check out the marvelous Mountain State in the midst of winter. Stay at any of the resort areas or a quaint little Bed & Breakfast and enjoy for a few days what we get to experience every day! You won’t be sorry!
